All the rumors are true, I’m playing Sister Mary Robert in Sister Act at The Muny, the largest and oldest outdoor theatre in the country!! Y’all I’m still not over it and I would love nothing more than to have your beautiful smiling face in one of these 10,000 seats! Also, for my fellow Umass folks: I’ll be performing alongside fellow alum Katy Geraghty, how fun! I know for many this involves a trip so I wanted to give you all the deets well in advance.

What:
Based on the smash hit film, Sister Act is a heavenly musical comedy that proves nothing can stand in the way of sisterhood! Disco diva Deloris dreams of fame and fortune, but is she prepared for the way she receives it? Songs inspired by Motown, soul and disco, including “Take Me to Heaven,” “Fabulous, Baby!,” and “Raise Your Voice,” this score is sure to raise your spirits. The grand finale to the Muny season promises to be divine!

I was nominated for a 3Arts Award in the Dance Category!
3Arts Awards offer applause and recognition to Chicago-based women artists, artists of color, and Deaf and disabled artists who work in the performing, teaching, and visual arts. Each year, they invite 35 local arts leaders to nominate outstanding Chicago artists who are making distinctive work in their creative fields. I am among a select group of artists across five award categories (dance, music, teaching arts, theater, and visual arts) who have been invited to apply for this award.
Ten artists will be publicly announced at the 2023 3Arts Awards Celebration on November 13 at the Harris Theater for Music & Dance and receive a monetary award to further their creative endeavors.
