What:
World Premiere Kennedy Center Commission
Through the Sunken Lands is a new musical following Artemis, a young wheelchair user, who’s determined to fight to save her dying and flooded town with the help of her Aunt Maggie and a talking heron.
Crafted with complexity and rich emotions, Artemis’ character illustrates that when she brings her whole self—disability, determination, imagination, and problem-solving—to a challenge, she is strong. Through her journey, she discovers power and purpose in rebuilding her town to be better for everyone.

In an ironic turn of events, considering my last newsletter, my Instagram app hasn’t been working for quite some time. Every time I open the app it’s a blank white screen. On my browser, I’m prompted to make a change to my account but, there’s some sort of glitch and the submit button doesn’t work. I’ve tried re-downloading the app and logging in on other devices. But alas, it appears I am locked out indefinitely.
While I have contemplated leaving the app for quite some time, I was hoping to leave on my terms. I was hoping to make it known that’s not where you’ll find me or how to get in contact with me. I hoped to direct people to this newsletter when I departed the app. For that reason, can I ask you a favor?
Can you please forward this email to someone you think is (or should be) following me on Instagram/subscribed to this newsletter to get the word out? Thanks!
If you have made it this far THANK YOU so much. If you have enjoyed this newsletter and want to support me you can:
